From cozy forest huts to spacious halls, Rising Sun Retreats provides accommodations designed for rest, connection, and the peaceful beauty of nature.

The House
Guests and up to two retreat leaders can stay in the Main House in one of our private rooms. Upstairs, there are three rooms and two full bathrooms: the master suite has its own private bathroom and screened in porch, while the other two rooms share a full bathroom. Relax in the living room, take in the view from the screened wrap-around porch, or enjoy quiet time in the comfort of your room.

Hickory hall
Hickory Hall features four private single rooms, each fully furnished with twin beds, cozy rugs, and plush bedding. Connected to the Main House, it provides easy access to indoor hot showers and restrooms just down the hallway along with a screened in porch. Guests staying here also have full access to the Main House and its shared spaces.

The Hideaway
The Tiny Home offers three comfortable beds, a full kitchen, and two full bathrooms, making it perfect for guests or retreat leaders. It can also be used as a bath house for the tents for convenience. Guests staying here have full access to shared spaces in the Main House, while enjoying the privacy and flexibility of their own space.

Forest Huts
Our 8 framed, canvas tents are completely outfitted with cedar floors, cozy rugs, 2 beds each with warm, plush bedding, cast-iron stoves for fires on cool nights, lanterns and front porch seating. Hot showers and restrooms are just a few steps away, located in the Hideaway. Tent camps have a front deck where you can read, relax or visit with your neighbors and enjoy the trees and the infinitely starry sky.

Property Highlights
The 7-person traditional steam cedar sauna is available with any length of stay at Rising Sun Retreats. Enjoy views of the bluff through the sauna window and enhance your experience with a cold plunge. The garage space accommodates up to 20 guests and makes a perfect venue for events, workshops, or yoga sessions, complete with mats, blocks, and bolsters. After your sauna or event, explore hiking on the property, discover art created or curated by the original owners, and visit the waterfall along the way. In the evenings, gather around the cozy firepit.
